Terms of Service Understanding Your Rights & Responsibilities

By accessing or using the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our policies referenced herein. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site.

If you use the Site on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

Through the Site, MME Impact Lab may offer:

• Information about our mission, programmes, partners, and impact
• Blog articles and news updates
• Contact forms and enquiry channels
• Tools to book demos or consultations
• Newsletter or blog subscription options
• Career listings and job application facilities
• Links to third-party resources, social media, or partner sites

We may add, modify, or remove features or content at any time without notice. We do not guarantee that all information on the Site is complete, current, or error-free.

Our public website generally does not require you to create a user account. When you submit information through contact forms, booking requests, newsletter sign-ups, or job applications, you agree to provide accurate and complete information.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any credentials or links sent to you (for example, for admin or partner portals not covered by these public-site Terms) and for all activity under your credentials.

You must notify us promptly if you believe your information has been misused or submitted without your authorisation.

• Transmit unlawful, harmful, defamatory, harassing, or infringing material

We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or pose a risk to the Site or others.

Newsletter and updates: Subscribing to blog or email updates is voluntary. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails or by contacting us.

Consultations and commercial work: Booking a demo or consultation through the Site does not by itself create a binding contract for paid services. Fees, scope, deliverables, and payment terms for consulting, implementation, or licensed products are set out in separate proposals or agreements between you and MME Impact Lab.

Any prices or service descriptions on the Site are for general information unless expressly stated as a binding offer.

Unless otherwise stated, the Site and its content—including text, graphics, logos, images, layouts, and software—are owned by MME Impact Lab or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may view and download content for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission, except as allowed by law (for example, fair quotation with attribution).

"MME Impact Lab," "MMEvolve," and related marks may be trademarks of MME Impact Lab or affiliates. Unauthorised use is prohibited.

When you submit content through forms, comments, applications, or other channels ("User Content"), you grant MME Impact Lab a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, and process that content for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy (for example, to respond to enquiries, manage recruitment, or improve our services).

You represent that you have the right to submit User Content and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law. We may remove or refuse User Content that we reasonably believe is unlawful, offensive, or inconsistent with these Terms.

We are not obligated to monitor all User Content but may do so where appropriate.

We aim to keep the Site available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, or error-free operation. The Site may be unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, technical failures, or events beyond our reasonable control.

We may change the design, functionality, or content of the Site at any time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Site.

We may, at our discretion and without prior notice, restrict or terminate your access to the Site if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or applicable law, or if necessary to protect the Site, our users, or our organisation.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will remain in effect.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Site and all content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Site will meet your requirements, that content is accurate or complete, or that defects will be corrected. Information on the Site is general in nature and is not professional, legal, or financial advice unless expressly stated in a signed engagement.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MME Impact Lab and its directors, employees, partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of the Site.

Our total aggregate liability for claims arising from your use of the Site shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us specifically for use of the Site in the twelve months before the claim (typically zero for public visitors) or (b) one hundred United States dollars (USD 100), except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MME Impact Lab and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda, except where mandatory law in your country of residence requires otherwise.

We encourage you to contact us first to seek an informal resolution before pursuing formal proceedings.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last Updated" date.

Your continued use of the Site after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law. If you do not agree, you should stop using the Site.
